When General Talk Therapy Hasn't Been Enough

Maybe you've done a few rounds of therapy already. You know exactly how to talk about the problem, but nothing's actually changed. If OCD's reassurance-seeking cycle, ADHD's daily execution gap, or a trauma response you can't quite explain is still running the show, the issue probably isn't you — it's that general talk therapy was never built for what you're dealing with.

It's also exhausting to start over with someone new and have to explain being LGBTQ+ before you can even get to the actual work.

Specialized Approaches, Matched to What You're Actually Facing

All of it happens in a space where being LGBTQ+ is a given, not something you have to bring up first.

OCD & Anxiety

ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) — the approach with the strongest evidence behind it, not general anxiety management.

Trauma & Identity

Lifespan Integration, alongside CBT and DBT.

ADHD

Strategies built around how your brain actually works — not generic productivity advice.

LGBTQ+-Affirming

A given here, not something you have to bring up first.

Trained in the Methods Built for These Specific Problems

A lot of therapists offer general support for anxiety or trauma. I trained specifically in ERP because reassurance and avoidance don't respond to insight alone — they respond to a structured, exposure-based approach. I trained in Lifespan Integration because some trauma responses live in the body, not just the story. That specificity is the point.

More About Me

You Shouldn't Have to Explain Yourself Before the Work Starts

“Being LGBTQ+, having ADHD, or living with OCD isn't background information I need explained to you — it's the starting point I already understand.”

Sessions are virtual. Availability: early mornings for Washington-based clients, more flexible morning hours for Massachusetts-based clients. License numbers are provided directly in your intake paperwork. A Good Faith Estimate is provided for every client per the No Surprises Act — see the GFE page for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance? +
I'm out-of-network with insurance companies. I partner with Thrizer to make out-of-network billing easier, and with Open Path Collective for clients who are uninsured, underinsured, or unable to afford current market rates for therapy.
Do I need a diagnosis to start therapy? +
No. Many clients come in with a strong hunch about what they're dealing with — OCD, ADHD, trauma — and we clarify from there together.
Where are you licensed? +
Washington and Massachusetts. Sessions are virtual, but you need to be physically located in one of these states at the time of your session.
How do I know if ERP or Lifespan Integration is right for me? +
Book a free consultation below. We'll talk through what you're facing and whether this is a good fit — no pressure either way.
